    worse service ever

I had dinner with two friends a few nights ago. I have to say this was the worse service I have encountered in a restaurant ever. Waitress forgot the soup, brought back the wrong pizza's with some half-hearted attempt of an apology. The service got worse as the evening progressed. It was clear to me that this was typical for her because she seemed untethered despite our obvious displeasure with her. the best was shen she presented us with the check that included items that we never received. when informed of her mistake, she replied "well they will charge me for it". too bad honey, we didn't get the food! Food is fantastic which is what carries this place but Philadelphians will put up with just so much. They need a floor walker in this place to keep the wait staff in check.

    Great Za!

Nomad has been and continues to be a great addition to the BellaVista nabe. Their pizza is awesome, service friendly, and they also make pizza to go extraordinarily quickly. We usually get the Spicy Sausage, but the Soppressata is also super yummy. It's pricier than by-the-slice vendors, but so worth it. The arugula, house, and caesar salads are also really good. Our only suggestion would be making some specials part of the regular menu, like arancini and risotto, giving diners even more reliable and diverse choices. (Admittedly, sometimes we head to Stella just because we know we can get arancini!) Servers are nice, don't rush you, and let you just enjoy the food. The upstairs can get a little loud, but it's great for groups or casual dining. Downstairs they have a long communal table, making this place even more neighborly feeling!

    Perfect experience

Went to Nomad for the first time after seeing a play nearby. Had a wonderful waiter who obviously took pride in his job. Feasted on Arugula Proscuitto pizza and it was the perfect blend of yummy flavors on a light delicious crust. I cannot wait to return I liked the friendly atmosphere also and the big long table that makes up most of the seating and made it surprisingly cozy.

    Really? No, it's not good

So I am sitting at Nomad Pizza right now. It's my husband and my first time here. We heard great things and being pizza lovers were excited to try the new pizza joint. We were seated immediately and ordered the house salad and the margarhita and sausage pizzas. The house salad came quickly, but was merely mixed greens with a little bit of salad dressing. Really? $6 for this? No. We have been sitting here for 45 minutes and still no pizza. Wow. I would say that they have struck out. Eating the pizza now. Not worth the wait at all. Even better - the couple sitting next to us was told about the specials. There were specials? Nomad - I don't think so!
