    home made rolls

the rolls are big and tasty ,would be nice if they didn't reheat them in the microwave ,the first few bites are o'k but once the roll start to cool it's so rubbery and chewy, not good to digest. please use the oven so I can rate you 5.0

    Great Breakfast...Awesome Salad

I am on the Atkins Diet and I was looking for a place to dine...West Oak Lane Diner is that place. They cater to your needs...It's the speciality Place! To be honest, they are faster than some fast food places.

our lunch today was really disappoiting!

have been eating at oaklane diner for the past 20yrs eversince hubby and i returned from la, calif. we have enjoyed everything we have ordered in the many past visits to your establishment.we cantell that you have a different person or people cooking the food there.today i had what i had enjoyed many times in the past- liver onions, gravy and mashed potatoes. the liver was a decent portion- but it was full of veins and some portions of it was so tough it could not be chewed. gravy was so thick it looked almost like some sort of pudding. hubby ordered chicken croquettes ,which he says tasted like "it was dry without any flavor to it".string beans tasted like barely cooked. sad to say you have lost a devoted customer because of the way your food taste now. are you training someone to cook or are you no longer allowing a cook with experience in good home cooked food. we should have ordered what our two grandsons had- hamburgers!! cant go wrong with that

    Excellent

I'd passed by this place for the last five years, but when I started dating a new guy, he suggested we go in. We've eaten there every Wednesday since and find it wonderful. The spare ribs are to die for. I ordered the veal parm last night, and it's enough for me for lunch and dinner this evening. The waitresses are so friendly. It's been joy to have 'comfort' food that is very tasty.

    The poorest restaurant service ever!

I had went to eat at oak lane diner about 3 to 4 weeks ago, for the first time, and what a poor experience it was. The service was well below standard. The food came to the table and our order was incomplete. Seeing as thought it was incomplete, my party and I would still have to wait on the rest of the food. So I asked the server if I could add on a side of grits he said (with a grinning, sarcastic laugh "sorry, but you should've ordered tha earlier, it ain't no more, we bout to close". I said ok, that's ok. The server still wanted to make smart remarks. I didn't like the way the server continued to talk on his cellular phone as we waited for the rest of our food to be brought to our table. We waited a while for the rest of the order. We were finished eating. So I saw the manager walk by I pulled him to the side and told him about the service. The waiter came over to the table as my party and I were talking to the manager. The server got loud with me and the manager didn't say anything. The manager stepped back and let the server continue to say what he felt.

    Best Breakfat Joint In Town

Me and my mom go every Sunday and must sit in our favorite waitress area. I won't say any names but she knows! We have been coming to the diner since I have been 10 and I am 36 now. The food is great and the service is wonderful. On Sundays we don't even think about going anyplace but to West Oak Lane Diner! As far as me and my mom are concerned that diner is part of our family.

    Cheap and Good

I have been to the diner a few times in the past few weeks. I heard about the food from a friend who goes there more than me! I havent had much on the menu because I always order breakfast. The breakfast menu is great and affordable. Im going again tonight.
