Good veggie Sushi, Salad Dressing Yucky
The vegetarian Sushi dinner was excellent. The ginger dressing on the complimentary salad was way too much and yucky. Note to vegetarians, the Miso soup here, as in many places, is not strictly vegetarian. Contains fish product.

Consistently Good
Ooka is a solid performer with good food and good value. I think that what helps to make it special is the atmosphere -especially on the weekends. It is lively and you can tell that people are enjoying themselves because of the animated chatter.

Wonderful!
Great rolls...I'm a vegetarian, so I can't comment on the fish, but their vegetable rolls, edamame and miso soup are fabulous! The atmosphere is wonderful. And sitting at the sushi bar is always fun too. I've never tried the HIbachi, but I hear that is great as well.
