I've been going to this diner for years, it's never let me down. the food is always fresh and delish. they make most everything such as sauces and the like in house, no bulk restaurant distributor crap here and they also BAKE on the premises!! huge glass case full to the brim with awesome pastries, cakes, eclairs.. I always have to bring something home when I eat there from it. it's just down right great diner food, no greasy spoon here. I recently had the prime rib special and my god, it was huge and very tasty for less than 15 bucks (includes all the sides, soups, ect as well).. best diner breakfast in the city as well, real home fries, perfect omelets.. I really just cannot rave enough about this place.. oh and it also has a full bar and is open 24 hours, plus I've NEVER had poor service, not even once... I've stuffed my face for under 10 bucks as well.. the only thing I wish they had different would be "proper" french fries.. they serve those puffed up crispy fries that most everyone is serving in town. I prefer hand cut or steak fries style.. you know, a fry that seemed to come from a potato and not "extruded" but it's a very small thing in light of everything else.. open 24 hours too and plenty of parking

and a place to suck up local color. Miss ya South Philly but I'm not moving back LOL

I've been going to this diner for years and the food remains consistently good (especially their monthly specials and breakfasts) The service has always been friendly and down to earth.
