Best Korean Food I've Had
In the past year my love of korean food has blossomed. It all started in Philly. My first experience was at Giwa which was so-so. Since then I've eaten korean food all over the country including K-Town in NY and Santa Clara, CA. I still however, have not forgotten how wonderful the food was at Pastoral. Possibly, the best Bi Bim Bop I've ever had. Now that I've made my return to Philly I have high hopes to go there again! Their ban chan is also some of the best I've ever had!

Pastoral Restaurant
This is a great place for traditional Korean Food. The food is consistently good and the service always relaxed and friendly. I particularly enjoy having lunch at this spot because it is never over crowded and is a great place to talk or even do some work over lunch. My favorate dish is Yuk Gae Jung, a very spicy traditional Korean Soup that really hits the spot on cold days.

This is my favorite neighborhood place!
I live a block away so go here often for dine-in or take-out. The food is consistently great, and the man and woman who work there really grow on you. Last week I was a couple of dollars short, and the guy just said- "Pay next time." So they're friendly- and great cooks!

Service wasn't great
I thought that the waitress there was carrying herself with an attitude.

Excellent Korean fare
An excellent Korean restaurant tucked into the gayborhood of Philadelphia. Highly recommended.
