Fabulous
I was here with a large group on an evening when there was another party going on. The service was excellent - the owner helped at our table himself. We were very impressed by the menu and the food itself.

We will be back...again and again...
When entering Patou you feel as though you are entering a small bistro. Don't be fooled, they have a very large, beautiful back room as well that was perfect for our group. The food was wonderful and done to perfection. Everyone was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this restaurant as well as our guests that evening. Their prices were also very reasonable so I am not sure why they have a 5-$ listing. We will be back again, and again.

Un-redeemable
We waited 45 minutes to be seated and when we were finally seated it was in the back room, through the kitchen staging area. This area was clearly not the normal area for dining. The room had no air conditioning, stage lighting, and smelled like a dirty kitchen. We did not get our entrees for 2hours, Whenever someone ordered a drink it took over 25 minutes to come- how hard is it to pour wine? The food was nicely presented, but most of it came out cold. Flavor wise, it was only mediocre. This is a large space with no rhyme or reason to its organization. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I would not go back.

Friendly service, great food
My boyfriend and I ate at Patou early on a slow night, so the owner seated us and took our orders before the waiter arrived. He recommended the Voltaire cocktail, which sounded good and tasted better. I enjoyed my mango lobster ceviche, and the saffron sea bass I ordered was tender and well-seasoned. My boyfriend said his strip steak was juicy and flavorful, and the accompanying fries tasted great too. The service was unobtrusive, and the dishes were well-spaced. Since Patou is also located next to Franklin Court, we had a nice time afterward walking through the area.
