    good cheap thai food

I've been there a couple times and I think the food is great. It's beautiful on the inside and the food is delicious. I usually hate duck but I tried it and surprisingly it was very flavorful. The classic thai dishes are also very good. If your looking for good cheap thai food, Pattaya is the place to go to.

    Great food, great value!

I've been to the Pattaya Grill several times and never left dissatisfied. Last night I was there with a friend from out of town and both of us were so pleased that's where we'd gone. The green curry was very spicy (be warned), the papaya salad was delicious, vegetarian spring rolls were divine, and plus we had a chicken stir fry dish (can't remember name) and it was awesome too. The only thing that was slightly disappointing were the cocktails. But that can be fixed by getting a beer!

    Pros and cons

I go to the Pattaya Grill for thier triple flavored salmon (Recommended). The drinks are unique and very good. The atmosphere is cool...low lights the only con of the atomosphere is that the place gets crowded, and you may feel like you're eating on top of people. If you're looking for a private atmosphere, this is not your place. However because of the crowd you don't have to worry about anyone hearing your conversation. All in all this is a must try place... with the prices, drinks, and food flavors...I'm sure you'll be back.

    Yuck

My friend and I ordered two different tofu dishes here, and they both smelled in a way that I could not stand to eat them. (My friend also disliked them, but persevered and at least got some of the food down.) Though the server assured me that they were vegetarian, they smelled like flesh. By the way, I don't write this as someone who dislikes Thai food. It is my favorite cuisine. I recommend other restaurants for those looking for good Thai food in the city.

    Great food, price, and location

I went to Pattaya Grill for my first time with some friends. The food was excellent and the price was inexpensive. The service was good, but the restaurant was a bit busy. This is my new favorite spot and it's on UPenn's campus which is convenient. They also have a specialty drinks, I enjoyed the pomegranate martini.

    Good food, Nice ambience

I highly recommend the place. My family and I had such a good experience. Food was delicious and inexpensive. We loved cocktail there. It tamed the spiciness of the food. Our server was nice and so helpful. Good place for family dinner.
