Fantastic new BYOB
I just ate at Paul for the first time. The food was absolutely delicious. The salads were very large for appetizers. All three people I was with ordered different entrees (pork, braised shortribs, scallops and ravioli) and all there were fabulous. For dessert we shared the chocolate pancakes with fried banana - amazing! Also, the atmosphere is cozy and upscale. I was really impressed and would highly recommend this place.

I love Paul
More than accomodating when our 3rd party showed up. Food was delicious. Staff was polite and attentive. Dessert was delightful. Highly recommend this lovely BYOB.

Lovely
Great new addition to the neighborhood. We loved Paul. If you are interested ina dining experience Paul is for you. Starting with the warmed bread and butter to the duck salad , scallops and short ribs to the home made sorbets. Everything was made with such attention and detail. Its an upsacle place with not upscale prices. My new favorite place.

Start All Over
My wife and I were so excited to see another BYOB in the neighborhood. Our excitement was crushed quickly. We were greeted by Paul, a very nice waiter. Shortly after we were served stale store bought bread, an aggressive and unpolished nincompoop, whose name we intentionally didn't get, pounced on us to take our order. What happened to Paul? The food was bland and unmemorable; a huge disappointment. For the grand finale, we were hit with a $85 dollar check! For half that amount you can have a divine dream inducing dinner at Chloe or Matyson. I mean really, Scarcones Bakery is just five blocks away. The least they could do is serve fresh bread. Hard to believe this shipwreck is steered by the owners of Effies. Save your time and digestive system.

An upscale addition to Pine Street
Paul - An excellent addition to the neighborhood. Owned by Effie (Effie's) and Christina (Pine St Pizza) in honor of their late father Paul. The quality all around was great - Food - Atmosphere and Service. A but pricey for the neighborhood but a WELCOMED additon and well worth it

great new BYOB
I was surprised to see a new BYOB open on Pine St and thought it wouldn't be any different from the rest of them...I was wrong! Paul was fantastic. It was my first meal at the BYOB restaurant that offered not only good food but excellent service and in a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The interior is gorgeous, modern but not pretentious, cool but not cocky! I will go back!! Two thumbs up!!
