Great Seafood in Philly
I've been going to Pearl's since the mid-1960's. Since then, the Reading Terminal has received a facelift, but the quality and taste of Pearl's fresh seafood has not changed. Still the best value around. If your Momma or Grand Mom isn't going to make it for you, Pearl's is the best alternative. I have roots from the Chessapeake Bay area in Maryland and I tell you, Pearl's is a great runner-up in taste and freshness. Love it!

The best deviled crabcakes in Philly
Pearl's Oyster Bar is a favorite of mine and the only place I have lunch when I am in Center City. The deviled crabcake platter is so very good by itself that I have never used the accompanying tartar or cocktail sauces that they provide. The cole slaw is delicious as is the hard roll that comes with the platter. This is one of those places that is just right and I hope that they never change the menu or how they prepare their food. As for atmosphere, the Reding Terminal Market is what it is which is not a bad thing.
