While studying the menu, a patron who stepped outside to have a cigarette told us this was his favorite restaurant and that he had been there at least 10 times. The restaurant was crowded but we were seatedright away. The waitress was wonderful and helped us select our choices. I had the jumbo prawns with the sauce on the side. My husband had a wonderful chicken dish. We could see the cooks from our seat and they worked non stop. We could see that the people around us were enjoying our food as much as we were. I wish we had gone there again last night but are planning to go back tonight. Not your I can cook this at home food. A very special treat.

I grew up in Chinatown and for those of you who downgraded this, you really do have to know what to order here and be willing to experiment. It is not your traditional Americanized fare. If a dish is salty, it is usually meant to be eaten with a good quantity of rice. If you don't like it the first time, I'd recommend you go back and try something else unless you are are stuck on General Tso's Chicken or don't havea a stomach for trying different tastes. I can tell you the Roti-Canai is FABULOUS. I don't know anyplace else you can get that. The curry that comes with it is just delicious. I found with a lot of the other dishes you really have to experiment and some dishes are really an acquired taste. Its a great bargain. For many of my friends its their absolute favorite place. And its my favorite place for the Roti-Canai. I go there just for that.

I've loved panang for a few years now. The roti canai (in the appetizer section) is one of the best things i've eaten. Up until recently we would just get about 3 of those (each person) and be full. You also get to see them make it, thats part of the treat. Recently wanted to introduce it to the family and we got a lot of other stuff from the menu, once again, amazing. The wait can be a pain but the food makes up for it and it just shows that they will be here for awhile. The service could be A LOT better though. It's the one thing that turns me away...wait, finding parking can be a pain, but thats not their fault. Although some of the waiters are nice, the management and some of the other staff though can be quite rude.

My girlfriends and I had a girls night out this past weekend. There was about 5 of us. We waited for 20 mins to be seated. We waited forever to order our food and once our waitress arrived we had some questions about the food because one of my friend has peanuts allergies and the waitress didn't even wanted to take the time explaining it. The food was good, fair, not bad. But we felt rushed and didn't get the time to enjoyed the food. literaly we had to eat in 25mins.

Some of the best food ive had in this city!!! The service is super fast and the food is great. Try the sizzling beef or chicken or the coconut shrimp.

My husband and our friends and i love this place. We are all sort of foodies and we always pick this as our go-to favorite. highly reccomend the curry chicken with rice and beef cho fun! really enjoy the different food.

I love it here! i don't know what some of these people are talking about. msg? thats odd considering you can watch them cook the food, and i have never seen a shaker of it come out. Also it's fast, the plates are generous, and it is rather authentic. I don't know where the gimmicky part comes in... i would suggest it ! I think the curry chicken is awesome ! so is the Panang poh pai (sp) the malaysian spring roll. and of course lot's of other things. and of course there are tons of other great restaurants in the area but this is malaysian, not chinese soo ..
