Walked from St. Augustine after church to 9th and Race. We both ordered the Pho, one XL with chicken and one regular with beef. The regular was an endless bowl of noodles, thin slivers of beef, and spicy broth. I couldn't eat all of it, maybe half. The XL could feed a family. We also ordered the vegetarian stir fry and the papaya & beef salad... Way too much food but a sweet satisfying treat! Place was packed!

My good friend had been talking about this place for a while, we went there last night and I was blown away! Huge portions, he got the house special pho (tripe, tendon, flank), and I got BBQ pork and pork ball vermicelli, both were delicious! Great service and the beer was cheap too! Try it!

First time here last night....delicious! Huge amount of food for the price. It's a minimal decor chinatown place, but we came for the food not the ambiance. Will definitely be back! The tom yum soup was perfection!

I've never had such a large portion of pad thai in my life. Not only are the portions big they're so delicious. I crave their pad thai almost every day.

I found out about this place many years ago from a friend who is Vietnamese. This is the absolute pinnacle of Vietnamese cuisine in Phila. This is really authentic and all of the food is fresh and made to order. The service is great and the owner and his wife are very nice people! They have a seafood tank in the front with outrageous seasonal delicacies; 20lb crabs, 10lb lobsters and exotic fish all prepared Vietnamese style. They are also very inexpensive, me my wife and son order a table full of food for 50$ and that includes drinks, French coffee and 3 appetizers and 3 entrees!! This is the best for those that know! If you just want pho then go to Pho Ha in So.Phila. You just cannot go wrong at this place!! Enjoy!!

I am sorry to write this, I was really excited to get some yummy Vietnamese food especially after reading the reviews and it was subpar, not fresh, not flavorful and not worth it! Keep looking for a better place or head to Washington Avenue where there are more choices and tastes a lot better.

My boyfriend and I order out from this place almost once a week, and we crave it all the time. When it's Wednesday (the only day it is closed) and we forget and call, it's the worst! Delicious and affordable. Nice people occasionally we forget cash and they let us charge below the limit because we go a lot. I'd recommend the Tom Yum soup (403), the stir-fried rice flake with satay beef (138), the stir-fried rice flake with beef (136), the shrimp rolls (504) and any of the pho soups. We're about to go pick up our dinner right now...
