I've been to Piatto a bunch of times over the last year, and it never disappoints. Everything they serve is of the highest quality--from presentation to overall taste. For example, I stopped in for lunch one day and had a cheesesteak (their lunch menu has a more casual selection) that was made with prime rib and a very fresh long Italian roll. The menu is adjusted weekly, so you can always try new things. Of course, their mainstays are always available (I'm thinking of the mushroom ravioli. That would be my absolute first recommendation, and I'm not crazy about mushrooms). The prices are very reasonable. I would guess that a place with such quality in Conshohocken would be able to charge more, but it never breaks the bank. The one negative thing I can think to bring up is that they sometimes have trouble when they get busy. My service was a little slow 0ne night when they had a packed house. Otherwise, the service is very accommodating. I would very highly recommend trying this place to anyone looking for a new dinner spot or just a nice night out.

Tucked away in a strip shopping center in Conshohocken, this feels like a patrone owned and operated restaurant, which it is! Gavin presides and cooks and is extremely solicitous to guests' likes and dislikes. We try to eat there weekly when in the area - beer battered asparagus and the risottos are esp. good., the veal and scallops are both spectacular. Not a white tablecloth place but simply good, mostly Northern Italian, food served with care and attention - good value for the price!

We have been there twice in the last two weeks. Their new tasting menu is great. I had calamari, a Caesar salad, diver scallops with sautéed spinach and a mash potato with dessert for $34. The food was great and the presentation was nice. Chef Gavin worked at Le bec Fin and it showed in the quality of the meal. Great place and our friends came the next day and liked my recommendation .

I've been to Piatto about 6 times, tried something different at each visit & always been pleased w/ the meal. The staff is knowledgeable about each item on the menu & Chef comes out to check on his diners. Not a "pasta & Mama's red gravy" kind of place (altho' you can have that meal if you want), but an eclectic & changing menu with entres to satisfy both vegetarians & meat-eaters. A lovely addition to dining options in Conshohocken.

Wonderful food prepared and served properly...great sauces...prompt service...and an owner that actually cares about the dining experience of his patrons...one of the best Italian dining experiences I've enjoyed within 200 miles of Philadelphia...give it a try and you won't regret it! I guarantee you will return for more
