I ordered a grilled chicken salad which the croutons were stale, potato skins which I asked to be crunch and it was soggy and not to mention it took 40 mins to get to me (its 10pm at night and I live right down te street) and they also forgot my soda and had to come back to give me it. Since I didn't hear my door bell ring, the driver just left it on my doorstep and had the pizza place call and say hey the driver is outside... Ya try long gone. The girl on the phone wasn't rude but not to pleasant. I will not be ordering from this place again.

But i wanna say the girl on the phone was amazing she had tons of patience, and very sweet...I never felt rushed or felt like i was a bother to them. considering I have a full house of hungry men and a giant order :) .. Alot of people who work in food service/ Counter/phone orders could defintley Learn from her. Great Job and you guys just earned another happy customer, weekly!

You know how when you want pizza you always say to yourself "I want that kind of pizza that is just right. Perfect balance of sauce, cheese and dough thast does not try to re-invent the wheel." This is that pizza. It is like a chicago and new york pizza mated and had the perfect offspring. It is perfect for those rainy days or those summer nights in part due to the taste but also because these guys are the fastest delivery people I have had since I lived in New York. When you tip them they remember you and make sure you are taken care of on the next delivery. Also, try the calzones and stromboli.

I'm 19 and we've been ordering from The Pizza Store since I was old enough to eat solids. I'm anaphylactically allergic to dairy, meaning I'll die if I ingest the smallest amount of dairy. These guys are the only pizza place in town that'll read me ingredients, they make me pizza w/ no cheese (I'm not a giant fan of their sauce...), they make me hoagies and cheesesteaks with no cheese (I guess you would call that a steak sandwich, but I just can't say that in Philly...). Plus they have the only rolls in town that don't have milk in them. They also have the only chicken fingers in town I can eat. And everything they make is amazing. The prices are a little steep, but it's worth every red cent. Oh, their salads are huge and when you order fries, they give you so many, that instead of putting them in a bag, they fill up a whole container that anyone else would use to put your platter, along with the fries in those little side holders. So do yourself a favor and spend the extra dollar. Speaking of tight budgets, there are amazing specials everyday. One last thing. People are saying that delivery takes forever, but I've never waited longer than 20-30mins unless it was a holiday, or bad weather, maybe. You know, something like that. I hope this helps your decision. Enjoy. I just got done a mouthwatering roast beef hoagie. Mmmm.

The pizzas from here remind me of the old father and sons pizza that I had as a kid long ago up on front street near york. It's great. You don't find pizza like this anymore in philadelphia. The strombolis are awesome too.

This place makes really great wraps!! Also, the sauce they use is AMAZING. It takes a while to get your food if you are getting it delivered, but it still is hot when it gets to your door. Salads are huge for the price and the garlic knots are worth a try as well. -- Would not suggest their wings... they are not so great.
