Swept off my Feet
What a great tapas restaurant. No more Jose for me. This is quite a change from the usual Spanish or Continental Tapas restaurants. It seems that 2nd and Market have quite a few Mediterranean restaurants building up there, and Prive is possibly the best of the best. Great food, simple yet different, great atmosphere, and drinks. Service was pretty good, but what i will say is that they sure knew the menu. She did a great job that. We dined on a Friday night last week and will be dining again!

My Type of Tapas
Tapas in Philly is usually found by are great chef Jose Garces. But I found out that theres more out there. Prive was a nice surprise. Definetly a place for foodies. Shockingly the place was not that busy on a Thursday night, but I like it when my dinner is not interupted by loud people yelling at each other trying to speak (Parc...). The food was great, especially the exotic mushrooms and haloumi cheese with spicey pepper relish. Service needs a little work, but overall, I really enjoyed the place.

Thank god a great restaurant in old city
I had dinner at Prive on thursday night. Starting with the front door , i knew this resurant is going to be a resturant to save Old City . The decor was beautiful , the menu was full of new and innovative ideas for tapas style food. Our sever was informative and very knowledgable about the menu selection as well as extremely pleasant and had a wonderful sense of humor which made dining here a pleasure. i would highly reccomend Prive to friends.

New York style in Philly
Finally, a taste of New York City in Philadelphia. We went to Prive last night and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was fabulous, and the food was even better than that. We ordered several things just to give them a try. The octopus was so tender (which you don't find often). The flash fried spinach was very unique and tasty. The sampler of spreads was so beautifully presented. And then save room for desert. The walnut profiteroles are out of this world! Great place for a great meal or just a place to hang out and have a couple of drinks. Definitely would recommend it. Excellent!
