Being a Phila native I have been eating at Ralphs for 30 years at least. The K of P outpost is a bit corporate in atmosphere .The Food ,service ,and tradition MORE than make up for the hotel setting. The simple dishes are just excellent , I had the BEST eggplant parm ever last week..... If you like food ,food like your granma cooked ,go to Ralphs .

As a fan of the original Ralph's, this was really a big surprise. Totally different feel to it - kind of a NY supper-club vibe. It was packed with happy guests; food was wonderful (try the black raviolis with scallops). Very attentive wait staff too. Can't wait to go back.

Way different vibe, but not in a bad way. Really cool modern decor, with Ralph's photos on walls. Food is great, just like downtown. They did add some new dishes, but they were equally amazing. Definitely a second location to be proud of, can't wait to return.

Ralph's of South Philly is an institution, one to go back to again and again. A move to Ambler a few years ago failed, it wasn't "Ralph's." This time, they got it right, it IS "Ralph's." The food is every bit as good as the original. The atmosphere is entirely different as this space is more modern with an open feeling and it may not win converts right away. But, rest assured, by the end of your meal the food and the staff will have you planning your next visit. And this time you'll bring Mom.
