Last night my husband and I went to Ralph's and had an amazing meal. We had not dined there in many years being we live quite far from there the mussels and the garlic bread were as amazing as I remember and the entrees were superb. We have not stop talking about it all day and cannot wait to go back. This place is still a winner!!!

It was a wonderful experience to dine at a true Italian restaurant again. My wife and sister in law just wanted some good old fashion Italian food. We were not disappointed. The waitress was helpful and knowledgeable, and the place was beautiful. The Pinot Grigio was delicious as we're the deserts. Though we live in Bucks County, we will definitely be back again. Made reservation for wife and myself. Did a little shopping in S.Phily before our dinner. I was especially looking forward to the Clams casino for appetizer. Well I was greatly disappointed. We started with drinks and shared Ceaser salad, server had taken our order. Salad was good , hard too mess up a salad. She brought out my Clams casino I was waiting and anticipation of , they were all filler with bread style filling ....not a bit of clam or any of the usually ingredient you would expect casino style, Lousy. I ordered Veal Marsala dish, wife went with Pasta. Her Pasta came out Okay. My dish was just mediocre if that. Not a bit of Marsala taste to the dish kind of plain. I don't think will go back to Ralph's. Food was just OK.

The Good: The Food is some of the best Italian Food I've had. Comparable to the North End in Boston. The Bad: Every Table is about 4 inches from the next. Be prepared to share your conversations. Every waiter around seemed friendly and helpful except mine. He tossed our bill at us. He NEVER came back to check on us. I had to ask the water guy for a soda and never got it. Then I asked my waiter when he finally was near us. By the time I got that soda that I asked for when I started eating, I had finished my entire meal. What was the point then? He was actually pretty rude in his mannerisms. I don't expect the whole TGI Fridays attitude but I DO expect to be treated just a little better than this. Especially at these prices. And the topper? Because of his service, I left him 15% tip (which is more than he deserved). This jerk had the nerve to walk up to another waiter in front of my fiance and say "You believe they only left me $8 dollars?" He was arrogant and must say that from what I could see, all the other waiters were exceptional. Friendly, helpful, smiling, came back to check and basically did their job. It's because of this service I will never return to Ralph's again. The best part? It was my birthday.

Heard some others liked it so gave it a try a few years ago...........didn't think the food was worth a return.

My daughter & son in law decided to take me out for fathers day. Somewhere I've never eaten. A place called Ralph's in S.Philly. I've been to many Italian restaurants. This one had a friendly atmosphere from the valets to the waiters/servers. The entree was a veal parm with pasta. Very tasty portion with just the right amount of extras that made the ride worthwhile. I'm sure I'll be back soon.

I went to Ralph's for lunch with two friends on a weekday. When we walked in the staff totally ignored us and then acted like we were intruding. My friend had put his coat on the chair while we were seating ourselves so he could help me with my packages and the waiter basically yelled at him telling he couldn't take up two tables, which we weren't going to. After we sat down, he brought us bread and practically threw it at my friend! The food was average. We had sandwiches that I could have whipped up in my kitchen within 5 minutes. I have never experienced a more rude waiter in my entire life. There were other people already seated that were obviously "regulars", who were drinking bottles of wine and apparently they were more important than us. We felt like outcasts! I would suggest not even going!
