blah blah blah... I want Rx back for brunch
This place is way overpriced, the food is nothing special and the service is poor. I am a vegetarian and this place had very few options and said they wouldn't make changes to the other dishes. How hard is it to not put meat in a pasta dish. The waiter rarely came around to ask how we were and seemed annoyed when we asked for water refills. They did not have salt and pepper on the table and didn't offer fresh pepper either. My meal was not that great and not as described. There are so many other places to go and get a good meal in West Philly and for Italian will travel out of the neighborhood. All in all this was not worth my time and money and I left hungry.

So-so, not worth the journey
If the food here were wonderful, it might've justified the poor service--a combination of the fault of the waiter and the kitchen--but it wasn't. It's not bad, but it is nothing special, either. Philly is a great restaurant town these days and in the category of Italian restaurants and more specifically Italian BYOBs, there are a ton that just blow this place away. It is attractive and it has some nice tables outside, but unless you live in the neighborhood (then, try Marigold), or must sit at outside there, it is hard to see any real reason to travel here.
