    Simply the best....oxtails!!

The oxtails are SCRUPMTOUS!! I had been going to the other "jamaican" chain restaurant down the street about twice a week while I was pregnant because I was craving oxtails. Just found out about Ron's today and stopped in for some oxtails and rice & beans. Let me tell you, the oxtails are tender, full of flavor and mouthwatering!!! The portions are generous. As another reviewer mentioned, many of the oxtails were small and fatty....but I love the fat so no complaints here! LOL! Try Ron's oxtails...you won't be disappointed!

    I am in love

I have been eating at Ron's Cafe since I can remember. It's been 10 years at least and the food hasn't changed one bit. They never skimp on the meat or anything. This is a true gem hidden in Broad and Olney. My parents are west indian and when they don't cook I go to Ron's it's like a 2nd home. Everyone is friendly and you can even pick up a video while ordering ;). Their oxtail and rice is my favebut coming in at a close 2nd are their mac and cheese with buffalo wings. Everything is hot and fresh. Im basically obsessed.!! EAT AT RONS. it's the real deal. no showy fake gourmet just straight west indian home cooking. YA FI TRY IT!!

    I Love It!

I love the Pepper Steak with rice and peas. I'm hooked!!! I was scared to try Jamaican food but is so good! Ron's is very clean and you get a lot of food for a good price. I go at least twice a week to eat and believe me, I am very picky when it comes to food. The Curry shrimp and Curry chicken is excellent too but I'm stuck on the Pepper steak.

    Awesome, Best Oxtail Anywhere!

I live close to this restaurant. I have to say this place as the best mouth watering meat falling off the bone oxtails. I always get the rice and peas & cabbage combo. The beef patties are wonderful to. I have sampled over the years different foods from their menu, and have found my extreme love of all is the oxtail. I moved out of the area now and still continue to travel my 1hr away just get my oxtail. I get food from there once a week still. Only thing is like every where you go the prices went up but you still get a lot for the money.
