Beautiful and mediocre
As usual, Stephen Starr has created yet another gorgeous restaurant where the actual food is below par. We started with raw littlenecks which were way to briny and fishy. We all shared a huge array of appetizers including the fried lobster tails which were very greasy and slightly undercooked The fried clams were so pasty inside we each tried one and stopped. Even the wedge salad dressing was almost inedible and tasting nothing like thousand island. Just dont understand why someone would spend so much on theme decorating and not on a proper menu. Eventhe oyster crackers were just plain weird. I would rather go to one of the steak houses for fresh rawbar and seafood.

Okay. Have had better
Went with Dear Hubby to try this out. Food was good. Not great. Quality was fresh, however. I ordered tuna medium and it came back really well done. Service was good until the restaurant was crowded. I would go back to try other entrees. However, I don't see this as my favorite. I would sooner go back to Osteria.

It's not good
As usual, Stephen Starr has made another gorgeous restaurant with mediocre food. Even the raw bar was just ok. Real foodies can't be fooled by all your bells and whistles.

Excellent- can't wait to return!
I stumbled upon Route 6 last week as it is 5 minutes from my church, and honestly I've been tasting the lobster in my mouth all week. I can't wait to return this Sunday evening. First off, I was blown away by the decor when I walked in- beautiful! I haven't seen a prettier and unique restaurant in Phila yet. The fact that it is on North Broad is even better- no more expensive parking. You can definitely find parking on the street or pay the valet charge. The creamed corn is delicious- best creamed cord I ever had and who knew I would love brussel sprouts. Only at Route 6! The clam chowder was really good and my friends (who are very picky) raved about the rainbow trout and crab cakes. My only complaint is I wish they would open up earlier on Sundays- 4pm or a Sunday brunch. All in all, this restaurant will be around for a long time.

Ok but I'll didnt like it
Ok so I live right around the corner from Route 6 and I wanted to try it, so my fiance made a reservation to go. I the atmosphere what good it was a mixed crowed, the staff was good and fast. The food was ok, I had the steamed little neck clams in this sauce and it was great, but for $16 I wanted more clams. I was disappointed. For my main course I ordered the lobster roll with french fries for $26! It was on a potato roll with lobster meat and mayo! Just no taste, the best part was the french fries. I paid $6 for a bottle of Fiji Water!! So my fiance had these fish cakes and they were good! He also had the steak and that was good! But the portions were very small! He ordered sparkling water it was also $6 our bill was $121!! I will not return
