Sabor Latino

We had high hopes for this Ecuadorian restaurant and couldn't wait to introduce our friends and colleagues to this branch of Latin favor. It's a good thing we decided to try it before bringing a big group because Sabor Latino was a big let-down. The fact that We were the only guests on a balmy Thursday evening already lowered our expectations, but we were still hugely disappointed that all the meat dishes were over-cooked and all the sauces were one-dimentional. The carne asada was particularly tough and flavorless. The empanadas were probably from frozen. The mango shake had barely a hint of mango. I could go on. On the plus side, the service was okay, the portions were adequate, and the parking was not as bad as everyone said it would be.

I went to this place to try and make some Ecuadorian friends. However, they all said that it was inauthentic of me to come there for that reason. So I ordered some food that was pretty Ecuadorian... for good food. The service was not that good.

Food was so so. Service was nothing short of poor. Would not go back.

Man this place was awesome. I took my Ecuadorian friends here and they totally thought it was authentic, even though they aren't from anywhere near Cuba. Its a good thing I'm an ignorant white guy and don't know the difference!

It was ok, not very autgentic. I took 4 of my ecuadorian friends that just came from there. Not good. Service was blah! So was everything else except the atmosphere.

We love Sabor Latino, the food is consistantly good and very authentic. I took my Ecuadorian friend here, she vouched for the authenticity. Yummy! Great service, too.
