If you want poor Service...you found it
Every where you go in Philly, people say oh great restaurant, terrible service. I think that this restaurant was the founder. My and I went on a saturday expecting to wait an hour for a table. When we arrived the hostess told us thirty minutes. We were written at the top of a new page. My husband and I waited and the group who put their name in before us was seated. After waiting another ten and watching about 5 other tables of ten get seated, we asked the hostess how long it would be. She proceeded to tell us that we had a hour wait and we had just put our names in. Would never go back as I am sure the other twenty people below us on the list will go back either. They refused to fix their mistake.

I Don't Get It
Here's one of Philadelphia's most overrated restaurants. I called ahead to see if I should put my name in for a table - they said 'no.' When we got there we waited outside in the cold for about 45 min. When we finally got in, the table was barely large enough for our group of 5 and the lighting was terrible - it was dark mood lighting, it was "we forgot to buy new lightbulbs." Then the server came and she was a not good. Rude and not at all helpful. That's okay, I thought, as long as the food is good. I ordered their challah french toast - everyone had been raving about it. Disappointing to say the least. It wasn't cooked all the way so I had slimy egg all over my plate and was otherwise not much more flavorful than most places. I tried a few of the other dishes at the table and thought they were mediocre at best. What all the accolades are all about... I have NO idea!

Small place, great breakfest
I ate breakfast and it was AMAZING! The food was great, the service was good and the atmosphere was friendly and cozy. I would definitely come back here again to eat.

long wait worthwhile
Sunday Brunch is the specialty here. You'll probably have to wait in long linesno reservations. The french toast is humongous and tasty. I liked the Rancho Huervos. A must breakfast-lunch spot.

Yummy
Bottom line: Great food!. My girlfriend loves when i take her on dates here. I've never had a special here, but the hoagies and sandwiches are great. The Grilled Vegetable sandwich is huge and FULL of flavor, and you get a tons of fries. The vege cheese steak is also a tasty treat for your herbivore friends. Each visit I've had a different pleasant young lady serve us, each time eager to help. I'll be going back whenever I want the lady to smile!

Great place great food
Sabrina's is a great place to have any meal. the service is friendly and the food is excellent. the poor hostesses stand out in inclement weather and have to put up with rude people who just don't understand what a wait to be seated is. this is fast becoming a trendy spot so a wait is almost always the norm.

The neighborhood
When i dont feel like making breakfast, i'll call sabrina's and order one serving of the stuffed french toast and potatoes, which is more than enough for both my girlfriend and i, then i'll walk across the road and pick up my food and head back across the road into the apt and watch a movie or whatever. I've been inside and actually sat down at a table twice, and the service is great. Good stuff. I dunno what that person was talking about with the "subpar"ness of sabrina's, maybe he didnt change his tampon before he left.
