Sahara Grill gets two thumbs up. Have eaten here hundreds of times and the food never disappoints -- always tasty, healthy, fresh, and all around excellent. Definitely a favorite. The atmosphere is fair, and the service varies, but for the price you can't except perfection on all fronts. There are very few center city restaurants in this moderate price range that offer such good, healthy fresh food. Highly recommended.

The food is excellent here, but every time we have been here the service has not been good! The server kept forgetting about us, and we had to keep asking for service! They also forgot to bring out some of our dishes. I dont know about the previous review, but I never got a free pitcher of ice tea nor does anyone deserve this kind of service!

I can't believe that I'm reading terrible reviews about the service here. I don't even live in the city and my fiance and I come here rarely...the food is worth the trip! The male server not only remembers us, but often gives us our pitcher of their delicious iced tea on the house. Maybe the people who have had bad service here deserve it. I was a server for 11 years, happy customers = good service. It's that simple. Don't let the other reviews sway your opinion...this place is wonderful!!!

Delicious entree's. Very hard to find good Kebobs in the city, but thanks to Sahara Grill my search has ended! HOWEVER, I agree with some of the posts here the service by the man is pretty sad.

Anonymous is right - there is a waiter there who think's he's God's gift to humanity. And it does kind of ruin your dining experience. I asked for extra yogurt sauce once, and with the look he gave me, you would have thought I asked him to give me his appendix! If he's rude to you do what I do -- don't tip him! With the exception of RudeBoy, the food is superb, and the lemonade is excellent. You can't lose with the schwarma platter.

I've eaten here and ordered take-out multiple times over the past four years. The food is delicious either way; however, the service can detract from the eat-in experience depending on your waiter. The lady waitress is attentive, prompt, and friendly. But another waiter is pompous, inattentive, and sometimes downright rude. When I consider stopping in to eat, I often look inside to see if he is working; if so, I walk on by. Pick-up combines the avoidance of rude service with the convenience of eating great food in the comfort of home. I've had all of the kebab, shawarma, hummus, etc. and haven't been disappointed once.
