Best In Havertown And Broomall
eat apx twice a week since the opened-good people-clean-yeah occasional its off but hey isn't ever one-cant go wrong

Absolutely rude !
The restaurant itself is nice and clean. I like the food, the price seems fair. But the service was subpar many times. I live in the area , so I end up giving them another try . I realize their English is not their first language, but that does not justify their RUDE service!! Otherwise it would have been a great place to eat!

disappointing dinner out
Staff was rude. Did not ask if we needed anything during our meal and sat and stared at my girlfriend and I . Basically asking us to leave with there eyes. Real awkward experience after working 12+ hours. Chicken was all fried batter and I will never eat there again.

Best Chinese in Havertown area
I have been going to Sampann for years now. The food is excellent and the service is fine. There is a big difference between being rude and speaking English as a second language, folks. And some of us are not looking to get rushed out of a restaurant. I eat there often and have gone long stretches of weekly take out. Never had a bad meal! Enjoy.

Sampan Inn
I've been going to Sampan Inn for about 10 years now and everything is great, including the staff so people must be doing something to the staff to make them be rude. Also if you are ordering sushi of course it is going to take a bit longer than other food since the guy is preparing everything fresh and making sure that it looks nice as well as tastes good. The only problem I've ever had is with annoying children that people don't know how to control. All in all Sampan is awesome!

Great Restaurant, poor service
As said earlier, everything is great about this place except the service. Personally, I'm willing to put up with the poor service because the food and atmosphere is so good. No one has ever been rude to me in the years I've been going there, but I also can't call them nice or cheerful. They also take their time in serving you. Best bet is to go with someone who is a good conversationalist when neither of you have to be anywhere, and go in knowing that there won't be any chit-chat with the servers.
