Sandy's Lunch

The food was average. Your typical diner breakfast fare. I watched as other diners were asked by a waiting waitress with coffee pot in hand if they wanted more coffee. I was pleasantly surprised by this effort. I became upset as I seen her attend to the other booths then make an immediate detour behind he counter before she approached my booth. I do not recommend this eatery.

This place is my favorite kind of brunch! Hearty, a great number of options, friendly service, inexpensive prices. They take credit cards and preemptively gave everyone at our table separate checks= total ease of payment (thank you!). Best of all, we didn't have to wait for a table for our party of four at 12:30 on a Sunday morning. A neighborhood treasure-- maybe not worth the trek for those beyond the 'hood, but as I live down the street, I'll definitely be back. We discovered that they deliver for a nominal $1.00 fee- something to keep in mind for future hungover weekends. I'm especially looking forward to trying the Greek specialties.

This is the friendliest little diner you will find in the city.  The food is very fresh and the owners take good care of you.

Sandy's lunch was overall a good deal - inexpensive food that was good quality. The inside is clean and the small family wait staff are very sweet, although the older woman who served us was a little bit scattered. Still, we didn't wait long for our food or the milkshakes (which were delicious!) that we ordered as dessert. The booths in the back don't leave any wiggle room so be prepared to get close to whoever you go to eat with. Fun for couples or small groups of friends. The food here was priced really well. Don't expect a gourmet breakfast but if you like good 'ol diner food, this is a great place to go! I would absolutely recommend it and plan to go back very soon for more of their delicious black and white milkshakes.
