There food is absolutely amazing! I never had a hoagie so delicious before! But the woman on the phone is unprofessional & rude.

Best Italian Hoagie in Philly. Fresh bread and veggies.

Their sandwiches are great - amazing bread, but I definitely agree that they need an attitude adjustment. We live four blocks away and they won't deliver to us! Their phone etiquette is also terrible. Plus - why would they be closed on a Monday? I've seen lines out the door during the work week lunch rush, but yet they close on a Monday. Seems to be the trend in Philly...places say they delivery but the order has to be enormous or less than a three block radius. Talk about an easy way to lose business.

There's no denying it: Sarcone's hoagies are tasty. The bread is delicious and the combo's they create are truly satisfying. While I love the food, I will say this: they could use a lift in the customer service dept. I understand it is not a 5 star restaurant, and I'm not looking for any butt-kissing, but a smile here and there would be nice even to those of us who aren't originally from the neighborhood. The thing that really kills me is their claim that they deliver. Last time I went it, their delivery man told me he'd deliver me a sandwich anywhere, no problem. I only live 10 blocks away. They won't deliver to me unless I place a large order. One or two sandwiches just isn't enough. It's a deli! A lot of people will order just one or two sandwiches. I think it's fine not to deliver, just don't say "we deliver" on the menu. Say, "large orders delivered" or something accurate. I still recommend their sandwiches to anyone not to lazy to go pick them up!

Massive, massive hoagies. Costs a bit more than the competition but the higher-quality ingredients make it worth it. And that bread is the best in Philly.
