Our dinner at Savona was a real disappointment. We ate at the bar and had two starters - the margurita pizza which was excellent. I had the fried artichoke heats, which were not. The hearts themselves were good, but they were so poorly rimmed that the hearts were surrounded by stringy dried threads one of which I chocked on. My veal and rocccotta meatballs were light and tasteless and with the heavy handed "gravy" on it, it was almost inedible. Service was certainly attentive - almost embarrassingly so - I was uncomfortable to be so fawned upon. The wine list was very pricey. All in all, we had an average dining experience with an excessive tab for what we got. Oh, and the valet parking - what a rip off I can walk 20 yards when I park myself -but oh no, you have to use the valet parking - there were -plenty of paring spaces but it didn't matter - extra money matters. We won't be back.

Great atmosphere, great new casual bar menu, and best of all, fabulous cocktails at the bar. I am definitely going back for more.

Savona has always been a favorite of mine. After the recent renovations, Savona is now a modern restaurant that offers both a fancy, romantic experience and a low key, bar-menu experience. The pizzas taste straight out of Italy. The wine list is better than exceptional. Great place to celebrate, impress a date or for business. The bar and outside deck make you feel as if you are out of your element, relaxing and enjoying as if on vacation. I highly suggest spending the money as the food, wine and service are out of this world!
