pleasant surprise. always amazing.
semi a hole in the wall kind of place. fresh, uncomplicated seafood for an amazing value! never a bad meal. curious about delivery though?!

A Consistent Favorite
I love this restaurant, and bring people here all the time. Everyone I've brought has had a great experience, except for one person whose scallop sauce was insanely salty. I'm pretty sure that was a one time fluke, but you may want to avoid that dish (some sort of scallop and rice dish, i believe) just in case. Their clam chowder is deliciously creamy and decadent, and EVERYTHING fried there is wonderful, thanks to the lovely light and airy batter that they use. I especially recommend the calamari, which includes strips of fried onions and peppers. Also, the fried jumbo shrimp has always been deliciously juicy in my experience. For lunch, I recommend the flounder hoagie (it just needs a little salt). I think the prices are slightly high for some of portions, but for the most part it's worth it. Also, avoid the the shrimp scampi - it was basically pasta in a pool of butter with some shrimp and parsley tossed on top, and I was not impressed. Service has always been kind, courteous, and attentive, even with big parties.
