Had heard good things about this place. Unfortunately -- not. The service was excruciatingly slow on a quiet night. Portions were very small and sneaky: I ordered fried calamari, which was served in a big paper cone. However, only the top layer was calamari while below were deep fried bits of crust and a few peppers. My "wild salmon" wasn't wild and was cold and over cooked. My friend had the lobster which was ok., and the other items were mediocre but over priced and under sized. I won't be going back.

This place was okay. I was reading good reviews, but I didn't enjoy this place at all. I got the Seafood Cobb Salad which was very bland and would have been better if they added a crisp to the ingredients. Everything tasted raw and the crabmeat tasted as if it were out of a can. My boyfriend got the new england clam chowder along with the seafood combination that the waitress messed up on. We ordered it fried, but it came out broiled. The clam chowder tasted a bit sour to me and wasn't that great at all. I don't know if I'd come again; maybe if I knew what to order next time.

I love this restaurant, and bring people here all the time. Everyone I've brought has had a great experience, except for one person whose scallop sauce was insanely salty. I'm pretty sure that was a one time fluke, but you may want to avoid that dish (some sort of scallop and rice dish, i believe) just in case. Their clam chowder is deliciously creamy and decadent, and EVERYTHING fried there is wonderful, thanks to the lovely light and airy batter that they use. I especially recommend the calamari, which includes strips of fried onions and peppers. Also, the fried jumbo shrimp has always been deliciously juicy in my experience. For lunch, I recommend the flounder hoagie (it just needs a little salt). I think the prices are slightly high for some of portions, but for the most part it's worth it. Also, avoid the the shrimp scampi - it was basically pasta in a pool of butter with some shrimp and parsley tossed on top, and I was not impressed. Service has always been kind, courteous, and attentive, even with big parties.
