Love it when we can go to a restaurant and not worry if our food has animal stock or fat in it. And it's even better when the food and service is very good. The staff was friendly. One man even taught my 8 year old to use chopsticks in one lesson! If you go, don't pass up the satay in peanut sauce unless you are allergic.

If you are looking for Vegi-Chinese this is the place to go!

Best vegan Chinese food I've ever had - repeatedly. My favorites: pan fried curry dumplings (with Peter's special sauce), whole taro fish Szechuan style, sizzling beef in black bean sauce, shredded vegetables, tofu curry hot pot, ... and many more. Excellent!

Both the waitress and hostess insisted my food was the fish, as ordered, when in fact it was the peppered steak. A customer was allowed to take off his shoes and socks and air dry his feet in the aisle across from my table. He asked for my leftover tea. This place is vulgar and tacky. Hit-or-miss, at best.

food was ok, kind of bland. don't get the golden lion's head- it tastes like doughnuts.

Of the Chinese Kosher Vegetarian restaurants in Philly (I've been to 4), Singapore is the best. Fantastically fast and nice service. Good prices for an incredibly tasty meal- I've taken my vegetarian friends and my meat eating friends here and all of them loved it. Try the Pineapple Chicken- it's my favorite.

Singapore is my favorite vegetarian chinese restaurant. The service is amazing and the food is delicious. I highly recommend eating in or taking out.
