#1 Indian In Philly
I eat here at least 1 time per month. The food is always hot, fresh and ole soooo good. a great place for kids as well. Treat yourself and the best thing is the price, especially when your on a budget.

The Best in Town
My Wife and I eat out often and love the food and service at Sitar The Buffet is always fresh and new items the servic e is great too. When we come they great us and seat us with a hello ! I would recoment this place to anyone not just for eating in but to take out too .Items on the menu are great and made to order .On my way there right now : -)

Favorite Indian in the city!
Love that the dinner buffet comes with mango juice, and am always happy with the food. Way better than any of the sad overpriced Indian places downtown.

Good Indian on the cheap!
The food is fine quality and fills me up! I am a student at Drexel and man is the walk appreciated after the buffet at Sitar. I have never ordered a dish off the menu but with a good size buffet housing all of the Indian staple dishes and a changing array of main dishes what more could you ask for? Sitar offers a 10% off deal on the buffet for students, so the all you can eat luxury for the under ten dollar price is perfect. Bottom line is that if you are looking for good Indian cuisine, affordable priced meals, a relaxed and no frills atmosphere and an attentive staff who will keep your glass full and a clean plate for the run back to the buffet table then Sitar is great for you.

Great Indian food for a great price!
Food was great, buffet was really good value for the tastiness and the amount of food you can stuff yourself with! It's definitly perfect for students (I go to Drexel!) Based on the other Indian places I have been in Philly, this was the best for the value. The service is only okay but it doesn't really matter since you can just walk in, go up to the buffet, fill up and pay! For a good time with friends and a great bang for your buck this is definitly the place to go. Also, they have a 10% student discount, another plus for students. DEEEELISH!

Great value for UPenn students
It's the most affordable Indian food close to campus. I loved it! Their buffet is very good value for money.
