Cheese Burgers Are Excellent
I've been going to this place for the Godfather. Best Hoagie in Philly. Excellent Cheese Steaks. Saturday I had the Bacon Cheese Burger. It was so good. Taste better than five guys with no bad after effects. Talked to the people working there, never knew they use fresh ground beef never frozen and excellent sesame seed rolls. Try them.

SImply the best
I've been going here since they opened in 1988. I own a business in Port Richmond. They just keep getting better and better. You have to try the godfather and the wild thing. Excellent. I think the wild thing is the best new hot sandwich in philly. They are always pleasant. Great customer service.

Most under rated cheese steak.
This place is known for their hoagies, and I agree they are great. Yet the cheese steak is now my favorite in the city. Try them , always good. The service is fantastic , people are always happy.

New Location in Wilmington
I just happened to find this new Slack's in the Independence Mall in north Wilmington. Same great hoagies and cheesesteaks, but the service was superb. I have an office nearby, and I have begun ordering almost every day for delivery. They are the only restaurant that will deliver on time. Highly recommended.

Philly's best kept secret
Grew up on these hoagies and cheese steaks. Everytime im back in the neighborhood to visit mom we go. Their service has always been the best around, very very friendly. Godfather hoagie is my new favorite and the cheese steaks are most under rated in city.

Slack's is the best
Ii live in center city and found this place in port richmond that I've now been going to for years. The people who work there are always friendly and food is superb. You may find some places that have better food but not overall with their service. Always feel good when I go there. I really recommend it.
