disagree with bad reviews
this is not NY pizza its more of a "gourmet" pizza. this is more of a thin crust.very fresh and more modern take on ingredients. if you want traditional pizza this is prob not the place but there are tons of other pizza places in this great city that offer that and they do offer an "american" style. the restaurant is very clean. the delivery is always timely. the salads are awesome, esp when ordered in a bread bowl, they are more like a salad on top of a pizza with a great selection (ingredients like blue cheese, pine nuts, cranberry as well as traditional ceasar or greek), they are bit pricey for a salad at 10-12 bucks but large tasy and well worth it, i usually eat the whole thing and am stuffed

New Yorkers -
If you're from NY - why are you living here? Stop complaining about our local foods - we are not ny nor do ever brag or pretend to be... SLiCE is fantastic pizza that has nothing to do with Brooklyn, or any of the other boroughs. If you miss it so much - go back & get the pizza you miss so much. We won't miss you at all & there will be more SLiCE for us locals that appreciate good local food!

Better then New York Pizza
it just so happens that this pizza could not compare to New York pizza..or any other pizza for that matter. I have never tasted something so unique. Everything is equally and perfectly proportioned. Everything is as fresh as can be. If you are trying to stuff your face with cheese then you can add extra cheese to this pie...if you want something u are used to then don't go to slice but if you want to try quality pizza I say go here and test it out... they cook it a little crispy so when you pick it up that beautiful cheese and sauce stay right on top instead of flopping onto your lap! <33 it.

Yummmmm and they offer a vegan option
I don't know what the last two reviewers were talking about. The pizza here is delicious. My husband and I are vegans and figured we would try one of their pizzas without the cheese. To our surprise, when we visited the restaurant we learned that they have vegan cheese and even whole wheat crusts. The pizza was a thin crust perfectly cooked and definitely not burned. The sauce... Yummmm. We loved it so much we ordered delivery the following week and are getting it again tonight. The people who work there are very pleasant as well and the restaurant is very clean.

so disappointed
I am a Brooklyn native and new to this area and have been looking for some good pizza. I just so happen to see an ad for this restaurant and some reviews most of them good. The only complaints I heard were not to order a slice to definitely order a pie. So I sent my husband on a journey tonight looking for your place because I had a craving for good old fashion cheese pizza. It is absolutely unappetizing. my pizza crust is burnt it looks as if it was reheated there is hardly any cheese on it so it might as well be a tomato pizza. My husband ordered a peperoni calzone and it to was burnt and the peperoni was unappealing.

not worth the trip
I went to Slice based on the Best of Philly review and the reviews posted on this site and was VERY disappointed. I, too, am a native New Yorker and this was NOT pizza. The sauce was poor and the cheese didn't even taste like cheese... not worthy of being called best pizza!
