Ugh
Had a breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon. There were a few lost their way onions in my eggs and the bacon didn't spend much time on the grill. It was raw! Never again.

Great Breakfast
I pass the Melrose and now the Broad st. diner just to get a breakfast at the South Street Diner. Does that tell you something ? The portions are big and the quality is great. You won't be disappointed.

New everything.
No longer privately owned but this change is not too bad. The prices are much higher and the menu is now multiple-page and all color. The food is good and more consistent than before. It is well lighted and a low noise level, you will be able to hear your table mates.
