I love the food...when I can get it!
South Street Souvlaki is by far the best restaurant for Greek Food in the area. Their Gyros are second to none! The proportions are generous. The prices are modest. The only problem is that they are never open! They are closed on Mondays so if you wanted to start off your week by giving yourself Greek perk you can't. Often they are closed either for supposed renovations (the place still looks the same for the most part) or for vacations both of which last a month or more. I've only been successful once out of the last six times I've tried to eat there. The last sign in the window said they would reopen in August but no one is answering the phone so I won't chance it.

I love this place but...
they are rarely open when I make the trip to South St. to get some food. It makes me sad every time because I do love their food. :-(

Best Gyros In Town!
I used to live on South Street and would get the gyros all the time. I have not been able to find a tastier gyro anywhere. Anytime I am in the area, I stop in and get one.

the best greek ever
The food is the best, the service is the best and my kids love it so i think its the best all around. Very fun!

Just some great food
Even if you are just looking for some great food that is reasonably priced,,,then try this restaurant. I highly recommend the cold combo appetiser platter. you can almost make a meal from that by itself. Only issue, as with any restaurant on South Street, is finding a parking spot. Enjoy.

This place has it all. Authentic (execellent) Grecian fare, atmosphere and reasonable prices.
