    Great concept needs some polishing.

I like Soy Cafe. It has been my experience that the food is made off site and extremely pricey. I would deal, but they use a microwave. I think that is the antithesis of health food. Did you just cook my eggs in the microwave? My expensive omelette? They do not have a griddle or full kitchen or something. It was not the health and quality I expect from SC. The staff is friendly. The food is nice for NoLibs. I think it is a one dollar to a couple dollars over. It needs some tweeks. But there is something there.

Friendly but slow staff, rip-off price for ramen

Staff was very friendly and accommodating (though they did not start making our food until we got there despite us calling ahead, resulting in a 20 min wait). However, the Spicy Seafood Ramen I ordered was subpar. It was basically instant noodles (Shin Ra Men, in case anyone is interested) with some fishcakes, scallions and shrimp on top. Charging $9.99 (counting tax) for what was mostly a pack of instant noodles that costs $1 to purchase is a rip-off. I am very disappointed at such unethical practice, especially considering Soy Cafe's reputation for being a neighborhood friendly place. I don't plan on going back.

    Smoothie Heaven

I've lived around the corner from this place for about a year and never went in until recently. Biggest mistake ever! Their menu of smoothies is robust and every one I've tried has been outstanding. The best part is that they use all fresh ingredients - no added sugar or anything artificial. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

    LOVE this place!

I loved this place. Went here with a friend and we both fell in love with it. Then I took my daughter there who is a vegetarian and it was great because she actually some choices besides just a bowel of pasta. She loved the food and I can't wait to take her back there again. And sitting out in the yard was a nice added bonus. The only thing I wish tho is that the menu had the Nutritional Information to the food on it.

My favorite place to eat in NL

Everything is prepared when you order which takes extra time but it WELL worth it. My favorites are the Artichoke and Tomato as well as the Grilled Eggplant. The smoothies and iced tea are also a treat for your palate. The staff is very welcoming and the music is great, too! Love it!
