I'm not sure about the last review, but I was in Spamps over the weekend for dinner with some old college roommates, and we had a terrific dinner and a good time at the bar afterwards. We had a waiter, and he was friendly and everything seemed to flow pretty well. None of us got chicken but my filet was cooked to the right temp (med rare) and I had a bite of my friends crab cake, and it was one of the best I've had in PA. Had the scallops for an app and they were succulent (learned that word in college); then again they were wrapped in bacon, so it's pretty hard to screw that up. I choose the location and my friends from out of town said they wish they had a place like this in their hometown. Two thumbs or forks or however they rate restaurants up!

After about 15 minutes of waiting the waitress came by to tell us the drink specials for the second time, we ordered drinks and food and 10 minutes later the bread came out (no drinks.) The drinks were good when we differentiated between sparkling wine and pinot grigio, the chicken was uncooked (both times) and my wife's scallops seemed pretty rare. Besides waiting and having raw food, the atmosphere seemed pretty lively and just what the neighborhood needs. I wish I had tried the sushi as they seem to have the raw food thing down.

Sorry for the title, but I couldn't resisit! This place is great! I'm a big sushi lover, so I really was in heaven when I had a lovely dinner seated at the sushi bar. I'm not sure what kind of tiles it is made out of, but it looked like a sea of sparkling jewelry. Our chef, I think Has was his name, was very friendly and entertaining. It's going to be tough deciding between here and Blue Fin, but Spamps just has so much more to offer.

My girlfriend and I went to Spamps to have a nice dinner. We had a wonderful time. The place was packed so we had a drink and some sushi at the bar before the hostess took us to the dining room. Things only got better. Our server was great, and I've never tasted better crabcakes. We already made reservations for next weekend.

My wife and I visited Spamps last night and I felt that I should share with other area residents some info on an incredible new dining option. We had a drink at the cool bar before dinner - a "healthy" Martini and a large serving of white wine. We were then seated for dinner at a nice table by the window. The waitress was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. The sushi we had as an appetizer was some of the best I can remember ever having, and the entrees were delicious (crabcake and fillet). We stayed for another drink (or two) after dinner and enjoyed an awesome late-night bar scene! This place is a must see - I recommend reservations as it got really busy on Saturday night.

I love stopping in here usually once a week. I pull up a chair at the bar; get a drink, order some food, and watch the game on the flatscreen. Friendly service, good food, and cold beers that's all I could ask for and it's delivered.

Delicious food, friendly staff, best looking place in town! It has turned in to our favorite place after just a few visits! I highly recommend trying it out!
