    service

I love dining in Northern Liberties, but not at this establishment! The place is noisy and food was very disappointing! The waitress was very rude and the restaurant manager is very unprofessional! They messed up our order and never gave us what was ordered! Shame on them, there are so many other restaurants there to choose from, we will never go back!

    C'mon...

Once again people, its is a gastropub. You should hardly expect service better then a place like Dirty Franks. They just happen to have a talended chef, not a 16 year old dunking frozen mozz sticks in dirty hot oil. Also, for the people complaining about "warm beer". Standard tap is a place which really respects the beer it serves. Beer is not supposed to be ice cold, its supposed to be served not far below room tempature. Beers like coors and bud are served ice cold because you can't taste it that way, and nobody wants to actually taste that beer.

    Great Place

ST rocks. The standard burger is one of the best around and the mussels are a million times better than monks. Great beer selection, never had a problem with service the 25+ times we have been here. No place better on a nice day than the outside deck upstairs.

    a bar that thinks it's a restaurant

As long as one understands that if one is planning at having dinner and seated in the designated areas for "dining only" (i.e. the "dining room seating only" areas- the selected places where the stressed out hostess will not seat anyone who is not going to be having a full meal, and no appetizers do not count as a meal), that one will wait for a very loooong time for everything, it's an OK experience. The food is not that great, I've been more times than I care to admit, and I have been disappointed in the food quality each and every time.

    Always a good experience.

I have been to Standard a bunch of times, and it's always a good experience. Good [select]ion of beer, nice atmosphere, and great food (especially the fries)!

    Stinks

This place has a lot of hype so my buddy and I stop in on a Saturday afternoon for a few beers and a burger. It took over 15 minutes for the hipster bartender to ask what we wanted to drink and then she brought us a couple of pints that were luke warm. We didnt even bother to order food. Warm beer and poor service, not my kind of place.
