Stella Sera

Went here for a date night with my husband on valentines day. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was outstanding and the food…delicious! Yes the portion was slightly smaller than your usual Olive Garden however every bite was well worth it. We didn’t leave hungry and felt good that we didn’t have to roll ourselves out of the place and regret it in the morning. I will definitely be going back to try some more dishes.

We were delighted to find this place and have gone several times--as family and with friends. Appetizers from soups to salads to calamari have been terrific with interesting seasonings to delight the palate. Fish, beef and veal dishes have all been delectable. The portion size is excellent (not oversized!) and allows full enjoyment of a memorable 3 course meal without feeling overly stuffed.

Very special place. Food, service, atmosphere, quality, style, comfort all are excellent. Whether a busy week end dinner or a quiet week night specialty meal, it is always delicious, comfortable, and you're always made to feel good...almost at home. I highly recommend Stella Sera for a special dinner, last minute get together, or party of ten! Great food, service, atmosphere.

The food was fantastic, but I thought the portions were quite small for the high prices. The service was good, though it seemed to take an awful long time for our dinners to appear, even though there weren't that many people there at the time we ordered. I would recommend it for a very special occasion.

The pasta Sera contained three (3) shrimp, about a tablespoon of shreds of crabmeat (no "lump"s here, and mushy over-cooked penne. No discernable sauce, or flavor. The grilled calamari were tough despite having hardly any grill marks--or grilled flavor. Only two dishes, but I can not see why anyone returns. Service was friendly, although getting extra napkins when a spill required help took two requests. In an attentive place they would have arrived unbidden. Admittedly the place was busy (and very noisy). But really!??

The food was fabulous! I had seafood bisque— some of the best I've ever had— and the artichoke heart appetizer, which was tender and subtly but wonderfully lemony. My date had the chicken saltimbocca, which he said was tender and delicious. For dessert, my date and I shared creme brulee, which was excellent. The best meal I've had in a long while. The service matched the food quality, too. Atmosphere is cozy. I thought the value was terrific, considering the quality of the food.

Excellent everything. Our dinner was perfect. We got seafood, it was great. Desserts were also great.
