ashamed what happens to a place
Growing up in the Northeast, Famous was one of the Delis to go to for great Jewish delis. On an average weekend you could wait aleast a half hour or more to get waited on for your deli order. Over the last 2 or 3 years I saw a decline in their deli quality. It was hit or miss if it was going to be good or not. The last draw was the purchase of white fish salad. After one bite, it was no good as being spoiled. I switched to Ben and Irv's.

How they are still in business, I dont know!
The food is dry, everyone there is miserable and has not an ounce of customer service, it is extremely filthy, the deli person who waited on me used his bare hands, no gloves and then sliced my meat after I guess opened his pay and counted his cash and looked at his check (didnt know cash was an option in a workplace) and didn't wash his hands, the restrooms had only 2 stalls working out of i think 5, with no hot water to wash your hands. Don't waste your time or money!

Call A Doctor
I have eaten in hundreds of restaurants and have never had a worse meal. The food tasted like leftovers while the atmosphere was the only thing that was worse. Save your money$$$ Go somewhere else!!

Grandson Naming
My first grandchild had a naming ceremony and of course my daughter and I agreed food should be from Famous. It was the nicest, freshest platter possible. Everyone was impressed. A hit. Thanks, Steve!

second hand food mediocre service
my family and i had our holiday dinner at the restaurant and i was not impressed. the food quality is sub par, however, i guess that is why they can keep the prices low. the service was okay but with low quality food it really does not matter if the service is good or bad. we came in to eat and were disappointed.

Amazing Value
My holiday dinner was packaged better - far more generous and, more importantly, tasted better than those I've ordered from Wegman's and such. It was ready on time and the staff was great at pick-up. A great value overall! I ordered from Famous because fact their ad had less restrictions (minimums) and more courses included.

Lox Wings adn Deli Items are great
The deli section has the best - inventory includes lox wings, whitefish and many more. Baked goods are great as well - Corned Beef and Pastrami are out of this world.
