Wow!
Had an unbelievable experience at Stogie Joe's! The food is so amazing and there is always something fun to do. Our server Annie was awesome! Great drink specials. They have $2 beers every day. I never had meatballs that good and the stromboli was ridiculous!

Stop the music
Went there on a recent Saturday night and could not believe how loud the juke box was. There is no way you can enjoy a meal when you can't hear yourself think. PLEASE, enough with the LOUD music.

Good but over priced drinks
I went to Stogies when they very first opened, they were great. I had the crab gravy, so yummy.Each visit was more dissapointing, I decided to give it one more chance. Since then they raised their prices on everything. I was there in january for my bday. I had the crab gravy, there was so much pepper I couldn't eat it, the drinks are $9-$10 a piece. (a disgrace) I know they're on Passyunk Ave, but give me a break , you are a corner bar/grille. The owners forget where they come from,they grew up in South Philly. Working class people come in your establishment, probaly people you grew up with. As for the staff, Teach your people to smile, miserable! I will never, ever go back again. I miss the Old Passyunk Tavern!!!:( I think you should start taking reviews alittle more serious.

Good Food but service totally rushed
The food is good at this restaurant but they totally rush you out the door. We weren't nearly finished eating our appetizers and the main course came. They were constantly asking if they could take anything away and we were clearly still eating. It's really obvious that you are being pushed out the door so others can sit. It wasn't an inexpensive night and we were out the door in 50 minutes. Really aggravating.

Great food, poor service
Been here numerous times and always enjoy their food but the service is poor. After being seated, we always wait at least 5-10 minutes before someone comes over to give menus. Servers and bartenders are too busy chatting.

OMG!
Stogie Joe's is unreal! Did anyone try the soups? So yummy! We LOVE this place. Everything is so good is hard to choose! The salad, the meatballs - and that stromboli! So lucky to live near it!
