Great for your BBQ fix!
Delicious BBQ and sides served up by friendly, hard working people. Don't miss the salmon on Friday nights! It's fantastic. The entire menu is pure comfort food.

Not for everyone!
Not as good as I was expecting based on so many of the reviews and hype. I keep looking for a good place to get BBQ and finally made the trek down to their neighborhood. As restaurants go - its clean and the food came up pretty fast, but it wasn't the best food at all, much less the best BBQ. I can actually make much better smoked meats myself and didn't feel this was a great value for the price.

Always a pleasure
I get some BBQ at least once a month. Gotta have it. Eat out or take home they have great fall off the bone ribs EVERYTIME. Love the beef brisket but the pulled pork is our pick as the best in this neck of the woods. All the sides have an authentic southern flavor. Our favorite is to share a Super Combo Platter. What a deal for two!

Used to Be Good,BBQ...in philly
Wow what happen we've been here many times since they opened it just keeps slippin.We thought we'd give them another try and again disappointment. 1.Mushy pulled pork-no bark stringy mush,no smoky flavor. 2.Brisket-should be called pulled beef,no brisket slices here, taste ok. 3.Ribs-Nice crust not terrible but dry,just maybe ok. 4.Smoked Turkey-come on sliced turkey taste like they sliced it from a deli turkey and put in sauce. 5.Mac-n-cheese-OK. 6.Colard Greens-Good. 7.BBQ Sauce-Great.

BEST OF PHILLY
Best BBQ in the area. It's alittle bit of a ride for us but well worth it. We try to go a least once a month. Sides are always well done and tasty. We've never had anything we didn't like.

Great BBQ, lackluster sides
This place serves what could be the best pulled pork in Philly. However, the mashed sweet potatoes are greasy The mac n cheese is also a bust. The collard greens and corn bread are the only reliable sides. I wish they'd add french fries or sweet potato fries to the menu. The atmosphere is cute and the workers are friendly. Having good sides would make this restaurant top notch! Fresh made lemonade would also be a welcome addition.
