I am really surprised to read the reviews that comment on slow delivery. We order from STH at least twice per month and never has it taken more than 30 - 40 minutes - not once. The delivery guy is nice and friendly and rides a motorcycle so the food is always hot when it arrives. Their Singapore Mei Fun is the best that I've had, as is the Kung Pao Chicken. Once or twice the spring rolls were a little greasy but most of the time, they are delish!!

Last night I ordered food from this place, and it took two and a half hours for it to get to me. The owner kept coming up with excuse after excuse as to why it was late, each time saying that it would be only a couple more minutes. My friend and I had to wait until 10 PM to eat our dinner. In addition, two of the dishes I had ordered came out wrong. The squid was supposed to be well done/charred, but it came to me barely cooked. The noodles were excessively salty as well. I called again the next day to discuss all of this, but the owner just said she said we could keep our tip. Off of a 45 dollar bill. I have never experienced such a poor ordering experience. If I would have known it would have taken 2 1/2 hours to get my food, and then have 1/2 of it come out wrong, I never would have ordered from here.

STH was our "go to" chinese take-out for about two years. We ordered from STH at least 4-5 times each month. Few weeks ago, we noticed STH on our credit card statement. We did not order from STH for two weeks prior to the charge. Also, on the night of the charge, my husband and I were cooking a nice dinner at home. When I called STH to remove the charge, I explained that I was a regular customer and that STH mistakenly charged my credit card. The woman who answered the phone told me that I was wrong and that the charge was correct. At this point, I did not even give my name or number yet!

Szechuan tasty house is the best takeout for the fan of spicy chinese cuisine. First you need to order the dumplings in spicy sauce. Slice chicken in spicy tangy sauce appetizer is also delicious. In the main menu I would suggest trying the sliced pork with spicy sauce, the 3 pepper chicken, the slice chicken with tangy sauce, & the dragon and the phoenix. And for those of you who only order one thing, the General Tso's chicken and shrimp is very good here. If you really like spicy chinese tell them to make it extra spicy and it will be a real snot sniffing experience. The guy who delivers is a middle aged chinese guy on a moped and he is very nice. Once he finds your place it is never more than 30 minutes for delivery, and often less.

Five Stars Is Not Enough.......I wish I could take the Chef home with me. From the beginning to the end it is all so delicious. The dumplings are wonderful with each sauce I have tried. The squid appetizer is amazing and I usually dislike cold appetizers. There has never been a single complaint on any meal I have had. I look forward to returning often. I just have to talk my husband into driving downtown.

I've been to the tasty house a number of times and the food has always been great, the service fine and the overall experience pleasant. But we've ordered delivery 3 times and I will never order again. First time they were late (45-60 instead of the 30 they said) and the food was just ok. The second time the food was so late (well over an hour, maybe an hour and a half and we are 10 minutes away!) that we said we'd never order from them again. Well a year later we hoped that they might have gotten their delivery issues worked out and we ordered again. Same thing again! Over an hour and the food was not very good. I just don't understand it. It's like it's two different restaurants. We'll never order delivery again, and I don't think we'll go to the restaurant again, because even though the food is good, the way they treat their delivery customers is so terrible I don't want to give them the business. If you can't deliver in a reasonable amount of time, don't offer delivery!

After reading several reviews, I tried STH and was thoroughly unimpressed. Everything was too greasy, oily and smelled slighty rancid. There are far better places to get affordable treats within the block.
