Might Be Best In Philadelphia
Short and Sweet. Try Table 31! Chef Cris Scarduzio is incredible. Not sure what happens in his kitchen but what comes out is luscious. When Chef comes out and meets you, you truly feel like you are at his home. And Table 31 is his home. My friends and I sampled all wee could. Steaks, Pizza, Pasta and everything was incredible. This is a mix between a steakhouse and Italian restaurant and its perfect in every way. The place is gorgeous, food spectacular and service was perfect. Then the fun began. I was there on a Thursday night and when dinner was over the place filled with the most gorgeous women I have seen in Philadelphia. They danced, drank and turned Table 31 into a must see nightspot in Philadelphia.

Impress your Jersey Shore date!
Overall, the food was decent. Mushroom and french onion soup were both solid renditions of the traditional recipe, with plenty of their respective name ingredients. Bone-in Porterhouse steak was cooked properly, but was underseasoned and surprisingly not separated from the bone after cooking. This should at least be a question/option asked of the diner. That being said, the price is ridiculous for such average food. The restaurant is at ground level so there are no special views, only passing traffic. The restaurant also had, at the time, quite possibly the most annoying flatware ever created; truly an experience in frustration not to be missed. Clientele seemed to be those out to impress their dates or those with more money than brains. A great place to impress that college student you've been cheating on your wife with or that new girl named Snooki you met at the shore. However, there aren't really any dark corner booths for you to hide in. The waiter was perfectly nice, fairly attentive without being obtrusive, but had some difficulty with the specials and details. Service staff rushed to clear. Overall, decent food that was overpriced in an average environment. Kind of like a hotel restaurant.

Fabulous Surprise
Had a great dish of cavatelli pasta before my perfectly cooked Prime strip steak that melted in my mouth. I would go back

Great chef but subpar food?
I've eaten here on a few different occasions. The food and the service lack. Had the cavatelli, way too al dente! The manager presence seems to be non-existent. My steak was overdone and they didn't seem to care. I was right near the server station and could hear all of them talking. They were talking about what a unplesant place it was to work and how they needed to find new jobs. Unhappy service staff equals poor service.
