I went three different times and sad to sad, they did not improve the buffet. Food was dry, tough meats, and i was shocked my last visit when a group of big brawny dudes came in and they did not replenish!!! Couldn't believe it! Yes they are cheaper, but that says it right there. Altogether the quality of the buffet is poor.

Business Lunch and they delivered (unlike Sitar). Had a variety of items and we made our own buffet. It was all delicious!! Everbody went back for seconds and thirds. Items purchased: Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Karahi, Chilli Chicken, Shrimp Curry, Saag Punjabi, Veggie Biryani, Samosas, Pakora, Naan. Nothing was bad, everything was flavorful. Wish there was more left for lunch now!

I've eaten here about 5 times for dinner and it was always pretty good. I'm not sure if this time wasn't as good because I went in the afternoon...? The selection of the buffet seemed pretty weak (especially if you don't eat meat) and the food was bland. I'd stick to the buffet at New Dehli around the corner, it seems to be larger and of better quality.

Fast delivery! Food tasted good, but very salty and too much oil/butter?? For sure not low calorie food! The bread was YUMMY!! I wonder if they could get the good taste w/o so much salt and oil/butter!!

I visited the Tandoor resturant the other day for the first time. I had eaten over at the New Delhi resturant a few times to always be disappointed by the food quality and taste. On the contrary, the food at the Tandoor buffet was amazing, probably the best Indian food I have tasted in Phily. The goat curry and chicken tandoori was incredible, both very tender and extremely fresh. They had some tasty indian desserts. The atmosphere was good, maybe a little crowded, but i always use that as a sign of a good resturant. A definate MUST visit for anyone looking to experience great indian cooking, and awesome prices for the buffet, great for the poverished student, highly recommended.

I agree with the other review. The staff was friendly, but honestly, the food was just not good. The pakora were very tasty and the bread was fine, but the dosas were terrible, the rice was undercooked, and the chana masala, while not as bad as the dosas or rice, was on the bland side.

Both dishes we got were swimming in grease. It was unbelievable how bad it was, to be honest. The garlic naan was OK, but nothing spectacular. I'm pretty sure that it was just pita bread that was, of course, covered in oil and one or two tiny pieces of garlic. All the food on the buffet looked similarly awful and sitting underneath at least a half inch of pure grease.
