This is a great local restraunt. Everthing is delicious. The service is good and is our favorite local place for dinner. Not sure what Anonymous is talking about I think there Italian food is really good.

We never been in the restaurant but always order pizza from here. I tried almost all the pizza places in Bensalem and this on came out on top. Moving from So Philly 3 years ago and having such a high value on pizza this place gets the closest to the old neighborhood pizza places. Keep up the good work

The food at Taranova's is comparable to that of the Olive Garden. Most restaurants who think they offer Italian food do not know anything about Italian cuisine or the culture. And they never will. If you do not want over processed, under cooked, tasteless food with the service operation that resembles a fast food eatery, then pass on this restaurant.

With all the menus we have and all the Pizza and Italian restaurants that deliver in this area, wem always choose this one. Their delivery service is fast all the time and the food is great. The only reason I gave a 3 on atmosphere is because I never ate in so I can't so it's bad or good.

I'm always willing to try a new pizza place, and last summer when our kitchen was being redone, we had to eat out every evening. So one evening we tried Taranova's after reading some nice reviews. Well, it far exceeded our expectations. The pizza is excellent. Thin crust, good red sauce, lots of cheese, ample toppings. Maybe second only to Taconelli's in the entire Philly region. Then I tried the sausage parmesan sandwich (a hot grinder, actually) and enjoyed it even more than the pizza. Perfect balance of well grilled sausage, sweet sauce, melted mozzarella and crispy roll. Plus, I always ask for hot (banana) peppers on the sandwich too. The wife prefers their pasta & cheese dishes, like ravioli or manicotti. Always served with a big salad & garlic bread. All the young servers are pleasant & helpful. One of them even held onto a pair of sunglasses that the wife left by accident until we returned. The place is fairly bland looking, and could use some fancier tables & booths. But when we go our for pizza & subs, we're not looking for fancy. When it comes to downhome pizza & pasta & subs, there's no place I can think of that's any better than Taranova's. It's nearly as good as was Rizzo's in Glenside, the legendary pizza shop that closed a few years ago. And, if you arrive for lunch or early enough in the evening, you need to stop into Fritz's Bakery next door and take home some goodies. They're best known for their sticky buns, but I swear by the apple turnovers and the brownies.

Pizza was small and expensive. Ordered wings and they were undercooked. No thanks

We brought our school group of 30 5th graders from NYC to this restaurant. Noreen (the party coordinator) was a blessing. She was unbelievable at creating a menu for our kids in the price range we needed. The moment we walked in everyone was so warm and accommodating! The food was amazing, and the kids were in heaven!! She even baked cupcakes for the kids for dessert. The chef came in to say hello to the kids. This was an amazing and unforgettable food experience for our kids. Oh... and the philly cheese steak... YUM!
