    Will never go back!

Was here on a Saturday, and had a terrible experience. The food was cold and somewhat bland. My waitress disappeared for 20 minutes at a time, and if it wasn't for other servers there going and finding her, we would have never seen her that night. Finally, when I looked at my bank statement, there were issues. Disgraceful restaurant!

    Going back

I really enjoyed this place and will be going back soon. Every dish I had was top notch. I thought the seafood cocktail could have been a bit bigger. The sweet potato fries were the best i have had so far in the city.

Pleasant surprise for a hotel bar

Wandering around Rittenhouse square after an appetizer elsewhere we walked by Tavern 17 and said let's go in. We were pleasantly surprised by the fast & friendly service. They even asked what we'd like to see on the tv screeen. The food was very good and I'm amazed that the house salad was surprisingly large and very very tasty considering it's the least expensive item on the menu. Sweet potato fries are to die for. Lastly, love those hi-tech looking placemats. You'd never know this is a hotel bar!
