Great breakfast, great price
I wasn't sure about trying this place because it's name sounds a lot like a beer bar, but I'm glad I did. I tried the Banana Pain Perdue, and it was phenomenal. The portion was a good size, the bananas were fresh and unbruised and the dish was unique. I also had a side of potatoes that were super tasty. The service was very good, the only down is the atmosphere could use a little oomph. Overall, I would say this was a GREAT breakfast.

Cheap, quick, and mmmh mmmh good!
Walked by one day and decided to give this cozy, casual and artsy cafe a try, to my surprise the service was great and food was excellent for the low prices. Chocolate chip pancakes are my favorite and the homefries are the best in town!Benedicts are a amazing and they don't skimp on the hollandaise! Come try the pourhouse you'll be pleasantly surprised. Hits the spot while not hurting your pocket!

awesome breakfast and lunch
discovered this place recently and decided to give it a try. then i went back and tried other things on their menu. their breakfast is really good and the prices are very reasonable too. the mississippi eggs benedict is amazing. their omelets are huge. they have this special sometimes called a cajun omelette and its the best omelette i've ever had. their homefries are really good also. service was prompt and attentive. they invite local artists to display their work, so thats pretty cool. the place is kinda hard to find cuz there's no sign that sticks out and its in the middle of the block...but once you find it, you'll be back again.
