I gave this place a try today and I upset with almost everything about the place. The thing I really liked about was the decor and the Hanks soda selection. My 2 kids and myself had 2 hotdogs 1 crab cake sandwich that I forced myself to eat becuz don't want waste my money and we had a very SM order of fries hanks soda n bottle of water almost $20 crazy I wouldn't have been upset with price if food tasted better crab cake ugh so nasty n if they had at least let & tom it would have been slightly better. Hot dogs were served on dinner rolls not HD buns. Food was served on these lil paper plates I mean I'm so mad I paid that much and it was crap. If u eat here don't expect anything exceptional. I wish I just grab some dogs from the lunch cart would have tasted better and still had money left over for water ice. YUCK TEXAS WEINER OF AOUTH PHILLY I WILL NEVER RETURN...!!!!!!!

Been eating here for 65 yrs and the taste is still the same . Also it is a light lunch unless you are tempted to indulge which is easy to do. Many many celebrities have been eating there thru the ages. Wish I got into s. Philly more often just to get into the Greeks

This is truly the best ever hotdog in philly. it is the only place i no that does not buy it's votes for best. it has been there since 1923 and still going strong. the special sauce is out of this world, and everyone tries to copy it. keep up the great work texaswieners.

Texas Weiners is the ONLY thing Philly likes that has anything closely associated with Texas. We can't stand the Dallas Cowboy but Texas Weiners are here to stay. I can't remember how many times we came to Texas Weiners. We came after school, after a day of shopping on Broad Street or Passyunk Avenue. If you haven't had a Texas Weiner, then you haven't tasted how good Texas gets served up SOUTH PHILLY STYLE!!
