Their food is the best! I have never had a problem. I reccomend it over wawa any day. And they have a wide variety of things to order and they will follow what u say to put on the sandwich and what not to put on

I can to this restaurant for the first time on 8.16.13 as an alternative to the usual place I go to. The menu was a nice size but that where it ended. I ordered a turkey wrap w/ swiss cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. When I got back to the office I knew something was wrong when the sandwich was so flimsy. To my absolute shock there was NO turkey inside. Literally half of a razor thin slice of turkey smothered in mayonaise. This is in no way an exaggeration. At first I thought maybe the girl who made the sandwich was angry and did it on purpose, im just speechless on what I was served. The absolute worst sandwich I have ever had in my life. When I called teh manager he offered to replace the sandwich but at that point im not driving 15 minutes back on my lunch break. This place will not last long I an guarantee it.

Can't complain about anything really. I had my first GCC wrap last week and it was pretty good! If you're getting a cheesesteak and don't want a soggy roll, specify you want it toasted. Other than the rolls, everything is awesome.

Bread is hit or miss a lot of times undercooked and doughy but when they are on their game it is pretty good.

This place is really set up for take out but there are some stools and small tables for a few people to eat in. They bake their own bread and do an excellent job. I've been going here for years and never had a sandwich on a bad roll. Everyone in Philly knows the roll is the most important part. When people come from out of town and ask about a good cheesesteak i'd take them to the works before pats, genos and maybe even tony lukes (i do like tony lukes). I have noticed some of their other locations don't seem to do as good a job as the Woodhaven Rd. spot but i wouldn't say their bad. The works is one of the better steak and hoagie shops around Philadelphia.

They have great cheesesteaks and are my first pick to get a cheesesteak locally without driving to southphilly. Food is great, however, I would not recommend dining in. The dining room is small and cramped and not a very relaxing or enjoyable atmosphere. Definitely order here but be sure to order out!
