    Great Find, Great Meal

This was our second experience and it was just as wonderful as our first on New Years Eve! Theresa the owner greeted us and her welcoming attitude set the gone for a nice evening. My fiance' loves the sweet potato gnocchi entree and the piaella mariena has the freshest seafood you will find anywhere. Atmosphere is warm and tables are not jammed close together like many Main Line restaurants. We will return!

    Excellent Service

We had a great time there...which is proof that one bad review is not the authority, you must go and try it your self. We had 4 adults, 1 restless toddler and an infant. Everyone ate something different and we all thought our meals we're wonderful. The portion sizes were pretty large and the prices were definitely reasonable. Theresa was extremely friendly to us and sweet, especially given we had a noisy toddler again. Definitely not my favorite Conshy restaurant, but certainly worth it to go back!

    Not recommended

Let me start by saying there were no more than 5 tables with no party greater than 6 people when we visited last Saturday at 8pm. Our server was prompt to greet us and open our wine, share specials and ask if we needed a minute to decide. Then, he diassappeared. When he came back 20 minutes later he kindly took our order and which consisted of two apps, three salads and four main courses (2 spaghetti & meatballs, 1 bolognese and 1 lamb shank). The hummas platter arrived quickly and then nothing for the next HOUR. The food was medicore at best and at worst the meatballs couldn't be cut with a butter knife unless used like a hack saw. The noodles were fine but just as good as grocery store frozen fresh noodles. When the owner noticed the ladies didn't eat their meatballs she was shocked and asked why. We we explained they were overcooked and extremely dry she said, "Impossible, I cooked them myself this morning!" We beg to differ. At this point we'd been their 2.5 hours and were desperate to leave - we asked for the check and got a complitmentary chocolate cheesecake instead. Very nice but honestly just as sub-par as the rest of the food. It then took another 20 minutes to get the check. We resorted to handing the bus boy our credit cards and standing by the door until we had the reciepts in our hand. Upon exiting the owner poked her head out the door, apologized again about the food (not the service though) and pleaded that we return... I don't think we'll be back anytime soon... PS - this place is byob but they will serve booze next door which can be brought back to your table... they don't tell you this unless you ask.

    A great girls night out!

I recently dined at Theresa's with 2 friends, we were celebrating a birthday and in the mood to relax with good friends, lucky us- good food followed! Theresa's shrimp appetizer was perfect, the NYC bread accompanying didn't hurt. I had a lamb shank with potatoes and brocoli rabe that was in an outstanding reduction sauce. Grilled peaches with ice cream was a delighful summer dessert. We will definitely return!

    Growing Pains?

My family visited on Easter Sunday eve. Something new, a little pricey but I would consider coming back. Quirky complaints, like four people at the table and four small pieces of bread in the basket. Be generous with your bread, NY or not! The server never asked about drinks the entire night. Never asked about coffee or tea afterwards. We drank water only! Theresa was cordial but chided my daughter to eat all her chicken breast entree. Not necessary! Theresa questioned me about receiving two crab cakes for my entree, instead of one. Did she know her Specials of the Day? Our server, though a gentleman, was a robot, and forgot to mention that the dessert cake was actually a coconut cake, which was delicious, but not a favorite of my daughter. Otherwise, the gnocchi's were wonderful and the crab cakes were loaded with crab. Keep working hard for success! Cheers.

    Great experience!!

We tried Theresa's and it was super. The restaurant is not in any way affiiated with the M bar. The reviewer who said they were denied food on February 12th from either place, BTW, failed to note that this was the Friday after the blizzard which paralyzed the region for 3 days. Many places were still closed and it is not shocking that the kitchen closed a little early. As a repeat customer of both theresa's and the M bar, both places are great and my friends and I will go there again!!

    no food service after 11pm

We have visited the M bar numerous times and have enjoyed the bar menu and drinks, unfortunately we were denied food service on Friday Febuary 12 at 10:45pm. The door of the M bar advertises food until 12 Friday and Saturday- we were told the kitchen was closed (all we wanted was pizza). I visited Teresa's next door to see if we could get take out, we were denied service there as well- even though I pointed out the kitchen hours posted on the door stated that food was served until 12. The owner was enjoying drinks with friends and had no interest in serving a customer. The M bar could be a great addition to Conshohocken, if they provide service as advertised. We are exteremely disappointed in our serivce this evening and will no longer recommend to friends, or return as customers.
