    Disappointed

I live in the NE and was excited to try this place. Pulling up, I was disappointed that I had not been here sooner. Beautiful atmosphere inside and out--really top notch for a bar/ cafe. However, the food was not so good. I had the potato bacon soup as a starter. It was sour and I wasn't sure if it was maybe some unexpected lemon or spoiled, (should have been smokey with the bacon). I also had the Tuscan Wrap--the chicken was niether hot or cold and the shredded mozzarrella was not melted but clumped, and the parmesan dressing must have been missing so I got some on the side but it lacked flavor also. The homemade potato chips on the side were unsalted and burnt. This place would be such a huge success if they put some effort into the food because they do have a very creative menu. I hope to go back because it really is a beautiful place and maybe the food will be better next time.

    good eats

I had the cordon bleu sandwich and I thought it was very tasty, moist and they even hollowed out my roll. The atmosphere was quiet at first and then regulars came in and it was lively. Music was good, I guess it was piped in. Service was great, couldn't have asked for anything that wasn't brought right away. We needed an extra table and that was done immediately. The outside courtyard is lovely, my dinner companions opted not to sit outside.
